Step Out and Serve

Andre Sims, the director of community relations at Omaha’s Christ Community Church spoke at the June 21st service on the “Step Out and Serve” program. The details are immediately forthcoming for our August 16th community day. Come with us, share in fellowship, companionship and service to the needy. Remember: Be a visible part of the Omaha community’s team in action on August 16th!

WHAT IS STEP OUT?

Step Out is joining your church with about 30 other churches to step out on a Sunday afternoon, August 16 for about 4 hours and serve the city. It is IMPACT that gets noticed with one purpose, “To serve as Jesus Served.” Please contact Gary Kuti, 895-4172, with Mission and Service Committee if you are interested.

Northwest Hills Home Doctors

Interested in using your home repair or fix-it skills? Have some time to reach out to our church members? Want to do some socializing? Northwest Hills has a group of members who are able and willing to do minor home repairs, maintenance, or fixing-up for our church members who are unable to do so themselves. The cost of materials, if any, will be via donation or by the assisted member, if he or she is able. Timing will be very flexible, and will also be dependent on requests and needs. If interested, let Rick Scofield, Don Reuter, or the church office know.

Northwest Hills Family Activities

Many family activities are scheduled throughout the year and are a great opportunity to have fun, socialize and get to know our church family.
